- Applicants should be non-Chinese citizen in good health over 18 years old, under 60 years old for Language Programs. Well-behaved and capable of living independently. Be obligated to observe Chinese laws and university's regulations. Respecting Chinese culture and customs is also imperative, and fulfilling all the conditions of Chinese Entry-exit.
- Applicants who once held Chinese nationality and then were naturalized as a foreign national or whose parents are both Chinese nationals and have both settled abroad, or one of whose parents is a Chinese national and has settled abroad, and who has acquired foreign nationality at birth shall hold valid foreign passport or certificate of nationality for no less than 4 years and have the record of having lived in a foreign country for more than 2 years in the recent 4 years (as of April 30th of the entry academic year).

Program Description
Brief Introduction
In addition to class (group) teaching, a one-to-one teaching program is also prepared for any individual who wants to study Chinese at a certain level or for a special purpose.
Teaching Objective
Through the long-term learning and traveling, international students will have a better understanding of China and an overall impression upon her more than five-thousand-year history and brilliant civilization as well as her rapid development that have taken place since 1978 when China started adopting the open policy to the outside world. Besides, learning Chinese helps foreign students widen their horizons and acquire knowledge and experience for their future career.
Program Structure
Chinese Language and Culture have 3 level class: Beginners, Elementary (B,C), Intermediate and Advanced, you would take a level test when you register. Main compulsory courses include Chinese Listerning, Reading and Writting. Elective courses that include Chinese History, Chinese Painting, Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Military Arts, Shadow Boxing, and Peking Opera Arts.
Classes for HSK Testing Techniques are available for international students as requested.Class Time-table

*1. Certificate of Non-Criminal Record
Certification in languages other than English should be translated into English.
*2. Bank Statement (30,000 yuan/RMB for one semester and 50,000 yuan/RMB for one academic year).
*3. Copies of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form
4. Other materials
If the applicant is an international student in China, a valid Visa or study type residence permit and an official study proof such as the "Certificate of End of Study" or "Transfer Certificate" issued by the aforementioned school/ University must be submitted with the application. If the applicant is employed, an official employment proof must be submitted.

7. Certificate/diploma of highest education
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - How to Apply
